Now that Broadway and and San Marco are just about finished and people moving in the makeup of the Central Cocoanut neighborhood is changing.

Things will be moving a bit more upscale with the new condo's and a welcome addition of Publix.

Central Cocoanut is a "historic neighborhood" as you can see.

This is the view down 17th St from the block east of US 41. It is currently a sleepy 2 lane street. Let's all hope it stays that way. The city commission just voted 3-2 to not turn it into a 4 land speedway...
